GENDER-RESPONSIVE APPROACH
Bruno Donat continues his strong commitment to promoting the participation of women and women of colour at the United Nations, especially for highest leadership positions. Mr. Donat raises awareness on the need for further transparency and commitment toward a more diverse work environment and to oppose discrimination at the United Nations, including through proactive gender-responsiveness.

Mia Mottley is a Barbadian politician and attorney who has served as the eighth prime minister of Barbados since 2018 and as Leader of the Barbados Labour Party (BLP) since 2008. Mia Mottley is the first woman to hold either position.

Jacinda Arden is a New Zealand politician and activist who was the 40th prime minister of New Zealand and leader of the Labour Party from 2017 to 2023. At age 37, Jacinda Arden became New Zealand's youngest prime minister in more than 150 years.
